This practical food box is ideal for preparing and storing food, as well as for use as a lunchbox for taking meals on the go. It can be used in the freezer as a storage container or – without the lid – in the oven for reheating or gratinating dishes. It can also be used in the microwave – in which case care must be taken to ensure that the metal body of the box does not come into direct contact with the wall of the appliance. The locking knob serves to vacuum-seal the lid and acts as a steam vent when used in the microwave. Thanks to the vacuum function and the double silicone seal, the box is completely leak-proof. When used in the oven, the material may become discoloured.
