RIEDEL Decanter AMADEO Capacity 0.75 litres The mouth-blown Amadeo decanter was created in 2006 to celebrate RIEDEL's 250th anniversary and is shaped like a lyre. It owes its name to the Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, whose 250th birthday was also celebrated in 2006. The wine is decanted through the wide opening of the vessel and poured through the narrow one. The black, white and black decoration of the Fatto a Mano decanter emphasises the classic lyre design. The technique of optically blown glass has its origins in Venice, the hometown of outstanding glass art. Even here, only a few still master this artistic method. RIEDEL's master glassblowers produce each product individually, giving each piece a unique character. Due to the manufacturing process, small variations in size and weight, tiny bubbles, imperfections or slight surface deviations are possible.
