CHROMA
Santoku knife P-02, 17.8 cm blade length
The P-02 Santoku knife is the classic all-round knife in Japanese cuisine. It combines the advantages of traditional Asian blades, which are suitable for picking up and transporting the food to be cut thanks to their special width, with those of the tapered Western shape, which is particularly suitable for cutting, weighing and stabbing.
The CHROMA type 301 knife series, developed by the well-known designer F. A. Porsche together with the multi-award-winning Austrian chef Jörg Wörther, is characterised not only by its exceptional design, but above all by the particularly sharp and edge-holding Japanese V-grind and the ergonomic shape, which allows fatigue-free working over long periods of time. The striking handle is made of stainless steel, the blade of high-quality Japanese Pure 301 steel. An integrated metal bead serves as a sensory stopper between the handle and blade. If necessary, the blade can be easily resharpened with a CHROMA whetstone.
Many well-known professional chefs, such as three-star chefs Klaus Erfort and Harald Wohlfahrt as well as TV chefs Ralf Zacherl and Frank Rosin, have sworn by the type 301 knives for years.
