Cast iron tea kettle 16.5 cm with tea infuser

You can use the visually striking Staub tea kettle with its funky stainless steel handles for more than just making tea. It is also suitable for use as a kettle, as cast iron conducts heat quickly and distributes it optimally over the entire surface. You can therefore not only prepare delicious tea in this kettle, but also soups or sauces. When cooled, the kettle is also suitable for serving cold bowls, gazpacho, sweet sauces or iced tea.

The Staub company was founded in 1974 in Alsace, France. The cast iron products are still manufactured in France today. Each product is unique and exceptional due to its traditional manufacture. The cast iron is poured into an individual sand mould, which is destroyed after casting. As a result, each product is slightly different in shape and colour and is unique. Cast iron is a high-carbon iron alloy and is one of the materials that stores heat best and releases it absolutely evenly. Thanks to its heat-retaining properties, the hob can usually be turned down to the lowest setting to gently braise the dish and save energy.
