In 1903, the entrepreneur Karl Weis founded the company Karl Weis u.Cie. in his home town of Ludwigsburg. From the outset, alongside the production of wire goods, the company also specialised in the manufacture of kitchen and household items such as whisks, graters, fruit presses and skimmers.
