In 1903, the entrepreneur Karl Weis founded the company Karl Weis u.Cie. in his home town of Ludwigsburg, which, in addition to the production of wire goods, was also involved in the manufacture of kitchen and household items such as whisks, graters, fruit presses and slotted spoons from the very beginning.
