The egg opener is simply placed on the tip of a small to medium-sized hen's egg, the handle ends are pressed together and 16 sharp little knife teeth drill through the shell and open the egg in a straight line so that the tip can be easily removed. Made from high-quality, hard-wearing and tasteless Cromargan: 18/10 stainless steel, the egg beater can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
