Thanks to the fire basket’s double-walled construction, the fuel – either firewood or pellets – burns with virtually no smoke or odour, meaning the MOON 55 can be used even in an urban environment without fear of complaints from neighbours. The permanently fitted MOON Airstream ensures an even, controlled air supply – particularly when heating with pellets – and enables a reliable, low-smoke fire even in windy conditions. The MOON 55 can be used with the low cast-iron base, giving a grill height of 67 cm, or raised to a grill height of 93 cm by simply slotting on and screwing in the supplied tall stainless-steel legs. The nozzle of the fire basket – the upper stainless steel ring – changes colour over time with use. This creates a unique colour gradient that makes each piece one of a kind. The attachable cast-iron plancha has an outer diameter of 64 cm and a central opening 25 cm in diameter.
