Product information "ZYLISS UTILITY series cheese knife, 12.5 cm blade, handle made from wheat straw-based plastic"
ZYLISS
UTILITY cheese knife with a 12.5 cm blade length
High-quality blades made from German stainless steel and ergonomically shaped plastic handles containing a high proportion of wheat straw are the hallmarks of the knives in ZYLISS’s new UTILITY collection. The contoured surfaces of the lightweight, comfortable handles and the perfect balance ensure ideal power transfer and safe, precise cutting. A wide range of blade shapes means there is a suitable knife for every task.
The cheese knife with a 12.5 cm blade length is perfect for cutting and serving soft and semi-hard cheeses. Grooves in the stainless steel blade prevent the cheese slices from sticking. The serrated double tip allows them to be transferred neatly onto crackers or serving boards.

The company Zyliss was founded in 1951 by the bicycle mechanic and inventor Karl Zysset (1907–1988) in Lyss, a small town near Bern. Zysset invented the garlic press in 1948 and the salad spinner in 1978, and registered many further patents throughout his career. The Blitzhacker, introduced in 1953 and later known as the ZICK-ZICK, became a much-copied classic.
