With this sturdy potato masher featuring a stainless steel mashing head, you can effortlessly turn cooked potatoes, carrots and other vegetables into a smooth, lump-free purée. The integrated silicone scraper on the side allows you to quickly and easily scrape purée residue from the inside of the pot.

The ergonomic handle is made of plastic containing wheat straw.

The company Zyliss was founded in 1951 by the bicycle mechanic and inventor Karl Zysset (1907–1988) in Lyss, a small town near Bern. Zysset invented the garlic press in 1948 and the salad spinner in 1978, and registered many further patents during his career. The Blitzhacker, introduced in 1953 and later known as the ZICK-ZICK, became a much-copied classic.
