The DUROTHERM PRO pressure cooker combines all the advantages of a conventional pressure cooker with those of DUROTHERM double-wall technology. Thanks to the additional lid, the pot can also be used as a normal DUROTHERM thermal cooking pot.

DUROTHERM is a unique, double-walled cookware that can save up to 60% energy when cooking.

Our grandmothers used to boil potatoes or vegetables briefly in a closed pot with a little water on the hob and then place the pot in the padded cooking box provided or directly under the thick down duvet in bed to finish cooking slowly. This function is performed by the double-walled design of the DUROTHERM pot. This gentle and energy-efficient cooking method keeps the vegetables aromatic, the colour fresh and the vitamins intact. Thanks to the excellent insulation, the food stays warm for up to two hours. The pot is suitable for all common cooking methods: Boiling, soft cooking, simmering, steaming, bain-marie cooking and steam cooking/steaming. Depending on the cooking method, you can save up to 60% energy. With the magnetic serving stand made of black melamine, the pot can be placed directly on the table for serving without the table surface suffering from the high temperature.
