The medium roasting pan for households with 4 people is suitable for cooking quantities of up to 2.5 kg. In a traditional design, with a handle for one-handed operation. Culinary delicacies such as vegetables, meat, fish or desserts, whether Mediterranean cuisine, home cooking or other specialities, can be easily prepared in it. Thanks to gentle temperatures, the food remains full of vitamins and minerals and does not dry out. Roasts are juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside.
The lid of the Römertopf should be soaked for 30 minutes before use in order to utilise the unique steam cooking function. The fine pores in the clay pot absorb the moisture and create a mild layer of vapour inside the pot when slowly heated in the oven. To obtain a crust, the lid should be removed 20 minutes before the end of the cooking time. The roasting tin should always be placed in a cold oven.
